Rachel Deffendall

Rachel Deffendall is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She was born and raised in Lebanon, graduated from Cumberland University BSN nursing program in 2003 and MTSU MSN program with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) in 2014. She has prior nursing experience in ER, ICU, pediatric ER, and cardiac Cath lab. She worked as a flight nurse and paramedic with Vanderbilt LifeFlight for nearly 10 years and was an associate instructor with the Emergency Medicine airway/cadaver labs. She has led instruction for ENA National Conference.
As a nurse practitioner she has had focuses in acute care, surgery, endocrine, wound care and aesthetics. She opened The Beaumont Med Spa in 2023 to offer you an individualized plan of care with services focusing on bioidentical hormone replacement (BHRT), weight loss and management, IV hydration and vitamin replacement, peptide therapy, facial dermal fillers, botox and customized skin care.
She was also featured as a Woman of Wellness by Lebanon City LifeStyle and was recognized as the 2023 Best Nurse Practitioner by Main Street Awards.
Hannah Porterfield
MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Hannah joined The Beaumont Med Spa in 2024 as a Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Cumberland University School of Nursing in 2007 and earned a Masters of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky University in 2014. She has previous nursing experience in Neonatal ICU, ER, and surgery. As a nurse practitioner she has had focuses in pediatrics and primary care.
She is passionate about the fields of hormone balance and weight management as she has personally struggled with PCOS, insulin resistance, and hormone disruption. She is excited to journey along with you as you work to optimize your health and well-being through multiple personalized options at The Beaumont.
David Deffendall

David Deffendall is an advance practice nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who has over 12 years experience in critical care and anesthesia. He has always had an interest in functional medicine and is now accepting patients looking to combine conventional and complimentary care.

Martha Wilson
Medical Aesthetician, Phlebotomy
Martha Wilson is a medical aesthetician as well as certified in phlebotomy. She grew up in Hendersonville, but is now a local resident of Lebanon. She started her aesthetician career in 2012 and has been improving people’s skin on the daily since!
She has been recognized as a ZO skinhealth expert, and specializes in facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, back facials and microneedling! She is also trained and skilled in lab/blood draws. Her passion is making you feel relaxed, beautiful, and confident.
Sarah Thompson
Aesthetician
Sarah is originally from Huntsville, AL but has called Lebanon, TN home for the past 14 years, where she happily raises her two children. She is a graduate of the Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute of Nashville.
She specializes in custom facials, peels, hydrodermabrasion and Skin Pen microneedling. She is also a ZO Skin Health product specialist, helping clients find the best medical grade products and regimens for their skin. Her passion is to help clients heal and love their skin.
